Fort Mill Halloween 2026: Crawl Dates, Lantern Tours and Nearby Nightlife
By the Queen City Backstage editorial team · Updated October 18, 2026
Fort Mill has several events with “crawl” in the name, but they offer very different experiences. For anyone planning the rest of October, the key distinction is between an already-finished bar crawl, an upcoming historical walking tour and the town’s seasonal scarecrow displays.
Spirits of Fort Mill: the announced bar-crawl dates have passed
The Fort Mill History Museum’s official listing schedules its 21+ Spirits of Fort Mill Bar Crawl for October 1 and 8, 2026. Those dates are over as of this update. It advertised three downtown venues and $25 admission, with food and drinks extra. The listing does not name the three stops, so we cannot responsibly publish a participating-bar list or sell this as an upcoming Halloween-weekend outing.
Still ahead: Lanterns & Legends
October 22–24 and 29–30 · 6:45 and 7:45 p.m. · Listed at $17 per person
The museum’s separate lantern-lit history tour starts at 107 Clebourne Street. Its ticket page recommends ages 12 and up and describes a rain-or-shine, non-refundable event. This is a walking tour, not a drinks package or a bar crawl. Select a remaining date and time in the ticket calendar to check availability.

Scarecrow Crawl is another kind of outing
The Town of Fort Mill’s Scarecrow Crawl runs October 2–31. It is a downtown display walk, not a ticketed bar-hopping event. Use the town’s official page for the map and display information.
For an upcoming multi-bar night
Our Charlotte Halloween bar crawl guide has confirmed organizer listings, linked bars and tickets for Uptown and South End. Treat the drive from Fort Mill as a separate part of the plan: transportation is not implied by a crawl wristband. Arrange a sober return trip and leave enough time for check-in.
