Charlotte Seen presented the Thursday, September 24 Charlotte Fashion Week runway program at PINE in Charlotte’s NoDa neighborhood. The organizer’s event listing scheduled the evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and identified 2026 as the event’s 15th year. Scott Jelleyman covered the runway for Queen City Backstage.
The producer and the platform
Founded by Rita Miles in 2010, Charlotte Seen has built an ongoing calendar of fashion shows, model casting, workshops, and community events. Charlotte Fashion Week began in 2011 as a platform for designers, models, and creative teams to work in front of a local audience. The 2026 organizer listing described a five-day program with six events and participation from designers, models, hair and makeup artists, and media. Those numbers refer to the whole week, not Thursday’s show alone.
Why PINE matters
PINE, at 4100 Raleigh Street, is a flexible event venue in NoDa. Its location placed the runway within a Charlotte neighborhood associated with arts and creative businesses. A local fashion week depends on that infrastructure as much as the runway itself: a producer, venue, designers, models, beauty teams, and an audience all make the presentation possible.
